Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, I moved to Portland, OR to attend Lewis and Clark College. Later, I started a company called Edmiston Design/Build which focused historical renovations and sustainable building. My interest in sustainability and health led me to pursue a masters in public health and medical school. Currently I am still in training, starting a year in cardiology research.
I first decided that I wanted to start blogging while in Death Valley. I only posted a couple of entries, but now I am back at it. I’m still not certain where this will take me, but I see this as a platform to share beautiful images from my outdoor adventures, perhaps some research work in the field of cardiology, and who knows what else. As it develops, I will continue to tweak and change things. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoy.
